So, I always enjoy blogging but I don’t generally have much to say. About 6 months ago I started taking 1 photo each day. The goal is to make it for a full year and I have made it thus far. Good Days, bad days, and everything in between have been recorded. I figured that this is about as interesting as I am going to get with my blog. So I am going to try to post up every picture here with a little explanation to have some context one day. Here is today’s:
This week’s theme is drops of water. I managed to get some decent sunrise pictures but they were formulaic. Instead, I sprayed down a plant and took a nice macro shot on a tripod to get really clear droplets. Worked out surprisingly well.
Stopping Time

Since the first night I got my camera I started taking pictures of water from the faucet. I have seen so many completely awesome shots. It is amazing to see the surroundings through the drop of water. Above was one specific drop using the macro lens I have. Even though I have spent more time on drops of water than any other area of photos. I have no idea why but this is my bane. Thanks to the digital-photography-school.com blog someone pointed out that flash is perfect for stopping time. These are my tries at that. Below is where I decided to highten my odds of getting a good few drops.
